Oe. Kvitnitskaya et al., POINT-CONTACTS BETWEEN THE HEAVY-FERMION SUPERCONDUCTOR UBE13 AND CONVENTIONAL SUPERCONDUCTORS, Czechoslovak journal of Physics, 46, 1996, pp. 799-800
Metallic point-contacts between UBe13 and conventional superconductors
(Ta, Nb, NbTi) behave like S - N - S junctions without Josephson coup
ling, instead, the superconductivity in each electrode appears to be d
estroyed individually by different critical currents. In particular, t
he part of the I - V characteristics due to the UBe13-superconductivit
y is almost indistinguishable from that of contacts against normal met
als. In magnetic fields of a few Tesla the junctions show an anomalous
behaviour: the UBe13 critical current increases with the field. This
effect is absent in point-contacts with a normal metal counterelectrod
