Abstract
The thermal expansion of the single crystal of UPt3 has been measured at temperatures down to 1 mK by a capacitance dilatometer. We have fir st observed a large thermal expansion anomaly around T(a)lpha=17 mK. I t corresponds to the specific heat anomaly observed in 1992. Furthermo re, the expansion coefficients depend on T-2 at the temperature above T(a)lpha, and T-2 at that below T(a)lpha respectively.
