Resistance measurement of alpha-(BEDT-TTF)(2)KHg(SCN)(4) in the conduc
ting plane has been made under uniaxial stress perpendicular to the BE
DT-TTF molecular layers at temperatures down to 34 mK. The in-plane re
sistance at about 1 kbar starts to decrease at around 1 K and shows ze
ro resistance below 0.1 K. The I-V characteristics exibits nonohmic be
havior V proportional to I (alpha) in the same temperature region. The
value of alpha increases from 1 at 1 K to 2 at. 34 mK, suggesting the
existence of vortex motion.
