Abstract
NMR and NQR on La in La7Ni3, which is a related compound to supercondu ctors of La3Ni and La3Co, have been performed. The electrical resistiv ity measurement on La7Ni3 has shown the superconductivity at transitio n temperature (T-c) of 2.4 K with a sharp transition and the squared t emperature dependence. In La NQR measurements, the spin-lattice relaxa tion rates were proportional to temperature, T, above T-c, and decreas ed exponentially with a small Hebel-Slichter peak in the superconducti ng state. These results show that La7Ni3 is a BCS superconductor.
