It is shown that the ''multi-petal'' structure of the gap parameter in
high-T-C superconductors, which is observed in ARPES experiments, and
which is a result of the anisotropic s-wave Cooper pairing, leads to
the non-zero value of the conductivity sigma(omega,T) in the limit ome
ga --> 0 and T --> 0 due to zeros of the anisotropic gap. This theoret
ical result call explain the anomalously large values of the microwave
surface resistance R(s)(omega,T) at T much less than T-C, and obtaine
d in our experiments very weak dependence of R(s) on magnetic field in
the high-T-C superconductors, unlike the BCS superconductors having a
n isotropic gap.
