Local electrodynamics of a high-T-c superconductor (HTS) is elaborated
based on the concept of the complex conductivity of a hard type II su
perconductor containing weak links (WLs). The contributions of the two
-fluid, the flux motion, and the weak link network to the total conduc
tivity are taken into account. The expression for the surface impedanc
e is derived and compared with the experimental results. Applicability
of the model to the magnetically modulated microwave absorption (MMMA
) experiments is discussed.
