Abstract
Thromboembolization through the foramen ovale apertum, from the right portion of the heart to the aorta and then to the axillary artery, is an unusual complication after an intrauterine blood transfusion. This complication was a possible cause of neonatal death in the case of Ph isoimmunization with a slightly hydropic newborn.
