The resonant response of spin-entropy (second sound) wave was studied
in cylindrical chamber filled with superfluid He-3 A(1) in magnetic fi
elds applied either parallel or perpendicular to the chamber axis. In
the perpendicular orientation and when the drive level is low, the obs
erved response is nonlinear and depends on the direction of frequency
sweep. When the drive level is increased, surprisingly, the response b
ecomes linear. The nonlinear effects are not observed in the parallel
field orientation.
