We report the study of the sliding dynamics of tile Wigner crystal on
a liquid He-4 surface, by means of pulsed electric field. A trapezoida
l voltage pulse whose ramp rate at the pulse edges exceeds a certain t
hreshold makes the crystal slide from the periodic surface dimples.
