NONLINEAR-INTERACTION BETWEEN COLLIDING 3RD SOUND PULSES

We report on time of flight measurements of third sound pulses in coll ision. The collision causes a shift, delta tau, in the time of flight. For low amplitude unsaturated third sound pulses, we compare delta ta u with predictions based on film thickness and velocity changes induce d by the colliding pulse.
