We report measurements of the He-3 spin diffusion, magnetization and r
elaxation times for He-3-He-4 mixture films on Nuclepore. For a He-3 c
overage of n(3) = 0.006 Angstrom(-2) (similar to 0.10 layers), we obse
rve a similar to 10(4) increase of the diffusion coefficient over the
one-layer He-4 thickness range, 0.15 less than or equal to n(4) less t
han or equal to 0.23 Angstrom(-2) and Curie-like behavior for the magn
etization for n(4) less than or equal to 0.20 Angstrom(-2). Disorder d
ue to surface roughness may result in localization of the He-3. This t
ype of localization has been predicted to be accompanied by a vanishin
g diffusion constant and diverging magnetizaton.
