High-density bcc and hcp He-3 have been cooled into the magnetically o
rdered state by direct nuclear demagnetization. Pressure changes durin
g precooling and demagnetization indicated the magnetic state of the s
ystem. For a bcc sample with v = 20.10 cm(3)/mole, tile two well-known
magnetic transitions were observed. For hcp samples precooled to 0.61
4 mK in a field of 2.485 T, for which the spin entropy is almost zero,
the transition to the ferromagnetic state was observed.
