Abstract
The effect of different forms of Pt complex catalysts on the structure of cyclolinear carbosiloxane polymers in polyaddition reactions was s tudied by gel permeation chromatography and Si-29 NMR spectroscopy. Us ing poly(hexaethylcyclotetrasiloxane-2,6-ethylene) as an example, it w as shown that the use of the catalyst in colloidal form decreases the polydispersity of the polymer, in contrast to the unreduced complex ca talysts.
