Abstract
It is well recognized that materials with fine-grained microstructures exhibit remarkable qualities, such as sinterability, increased hardne ss, high catalytic activity, novel optical, electronic, and magnetic p roperties amongst others. This is due to the fact that the finer the m aterial, the higher is the surface area allowing the various reactions to occur.
