Abstract
Studies of the magnetic properties of small atomic clusters are import ant to understand the evolution of the bulk magnetic property. Recent experimental investigations have revealed the magnetic properties of s mell atomic clusters of metals to be very different from that of the b ulk solids. The studies have opened up the possibility of the fabricat ion of magnetic nanostructured materials.
