Abstract
The surface and catalytic properties of magnesium fluoride supported r uthenium catalysts have been studied. IR and EPR results for adsorptio n of probe molecules (CO, O-2) indicate the existence of both Ru-0 and Ru-delta+ clusters. The Ru/MgF2 system was found to be very active in redox reactions.
