Abstract
The new biscyclopentadienylneodymiumtriethylborohydrides: Cp(2)(Q)NDHB Et(3) (Cp(Q)=C5H4CH2CH2OCH3); Cp(2)'NdHBEt(3), nTHF (Cp'=C(5)H(4)tBu) are obtained by addition of NaHBEt(3) on to the corresponding chloride s. The Nd-H NMR signals are found at ca 200 ppm. The reactivity of the se moderately stable complexes is similar to that of the known dimeric cyclopentadienyllanthanide hydrides.
