We study a stochastic model for the A+1/2B(2)-->0 reaction with energe
tic interactions between the particles. The reaction system includes a
dsorption, desorption, reaction and diffusion steps which depend on en
ergetic interactions. The temporal evolution of the system is describe
d by master equations using the Markovian behaviour of the system. We
study the system behaviour at different values of the energetic parame
ters and at varying diffusion and desorption rates. The location and t
he character of the phase transition points will be discussed in detai
l. The role of the constants used in situ mean field theories such as
kinetic constants etc are discussed in view of the new theories. All s
uch constants, if they are at ail meaningful, are functions of correla
tion functions and not constants. This has important implications for
the analysis of experiments.
