DEFORMED AND EXTENDED GALILEI GROUP HOPF-ALGEBRAS

The <kappa over cap>-deformed extended Galilei Hopf group algebra Fun( <kappa over cap>)((G) over bar((m))), is introduced. It provides an ex plicit example of a deformed group with cocycle bi-crossproduct struct ure, and is shown to be the contraction limit of a pseudoextension of the kappa-Poincare group algebra. The possibility of obtaining other d eformed extended Galilei groups is discussed, including one obtained f rom a non-standard Poincare deformation.
