instein by exploiting the cyclostationarity of fractionally sampled pu
lse amplitude modulated (PAM) signals, The resulting algorithm converg
es to the classic FSE solution, and therefore it synthesizes a discret
e-time matched filter without prior knowledge of both channel and tran
smitted sequence, Experimental results show the improvement in residua
l error and timing sensitivity over the symbol-spaced super-exponentia
l algorithm.
