Ss. Haqqie et al., NEPHROTIC-RANGE PROTEINURIA IN RENAL ATHEROEMBOLIC DISEASE - REPORT OF 4 CASES, American journal of kidney diseases, 28(4), 1996, pp. 493-501
The protean clinical manifestations of atheroembolic disease (AED) mim
ic systemic disorders with kidney involvement, Acute or chronic renal
failure develops spontaneously or more frequently after an inciting ev

me, however, constitute uncommon findings, We present four patients wi
th AED documented histopathologically who developed nephrotic-range pr
oteinuria, The mechanisms of proteinuria are discussed, and it is sugg
