In this paper, a new system of integral equations (SIE) for the unknow
n grounding current distribution function on the grounding system (GS)
conductors in two-layer earth is established, First, a quasi-stationa
ry electromagnetic (EM) field structure and the potential at the point
s around the GS in two-layer earth are determined. The GS supply zone
is approximated by an ideal current generator, The SIE is numerically
solved by the point matching method using a polynomial approximation f
or the current distribution function.
