Abstract
The effect of tensile stress on the magnetization properties of silico n steel samples declined from the rolling direction has been investiga ted. The locus for the two-dimensional magnetization change was measur ed. The locus of magnetization due to magnetic field without stress wa s different from that under tension. The locus of magnetization with t ension has two knees which correspond to the two knees of the hysteres is curve with tension. These results indicate the essential importance of investigations of the two-dimensional magnetization process.
