The correlation between microstructure and quasi-static magnetic hyste
resis loop of the initially amorphous ribbons of Fe76.5-xCu1NbxSi13.5B
9 alloys after annealing for 1 h at 370-800 degrees C was studied, The
local minimum of coercive field H-cmin was observed for the alloys af
ter completion of the first stage of crystallization. The observed dec
rease of H-cmin from 83 to 0.5 A/m is ascribed to the decrease of an a
verage diameter D of alpha-Fe(Si) nanocrystals from 62 to 12 nm, while
niobium content x increases from 0 to 3 at%, respectively.
