The microstructure, initial susceptibility and disaccommodation of Fe7
3.5Cu1Nb3Si13.5B9 ribbons of 15 and 25 mu m thickness and 1 cm width w
ere investigated in the as-quenched state and after annealing at 673 K
for 1 h and 823 K for 10 and 60 min. It was found that the magnetic p
roperties and microstructure depend on the as-quenched disorder (i.e.
ribbon thickness).
