Vg. Kostishyn et al., MOSSBAUER CONVERSIVE SPECTROSCOPY OF RADIATION DEFECTS IN GAMMA-IRRADIATED MAGNETIC GARNETS, Journal of magnetism and magnetic materials, 160, 1996, pp. 361-362
The Effect of Co-60 gamma-irradiation on the crystalline structure and
electronic state of iron ions in ferrite-garnet films was studied wit
h the help of Mossbauer conversive spectroscopy. It was found that, un
der irradiation, the charge exchange of oxygen vacancies takes place.
This is one of the causes of the increase of the effective magnetic an
isotropy field of such films.
