Abstract
Pelargonium tripalmatum E.M. Marais is described as a new species. It is a tuberous species, belonging to the section Hoarea (Sweet) DC. The tripalmately compound lamina is a unique leaf shape for section Hoare a. The pollen morphology and the leaf anatomy are described. An illust ration of the species and a distribution map are provided.
