Abstract
In camel, an extensive glandular mucosa lined parts of sacs of rumen, reticulum and whole of omasum with typical cardiac glands. Surface, fo veolar, isthmic and end-piece regions were diffeientiated. Strong to i ntense PAS reaction occurred in foveolar cells and the cells of end-pi eces. Strong Alcian-blue +ve material was observed in foveolar region. The end-pieces contained strong mucin contents.
