Abstract
In primary leaves of Hordeum vulgare L. plants grown in the presence o f jasmonic acid (JA) alterations in the size of chloroplasts were indu ced that led to disorganisation of chloroplast ultrastructure, The num ber of thylakoids per granum as well as the average length of granal a nd stromal thylakoids were lower in JA-treated plants.
