Abstract
The synthesis of dendronized acrylate and styrene monomers with Freche t-type as well as urethane-based dendrons of the first and second gene ration and their radically initiated polymerization to the high molecu lar weight dendrimers 6(G-1,2) and 8 a(G-2) is reported. The latter po lymer carries four THP-protected hydroxy functions per repeat unit who se quantitative deprotection is also described.
