150 Northern Irish University undergraduate students completed the Fra
ncis Scale of Altitude towards Christianity, the Satisfaction with Lif
e Scale, and a single-item measure of frequency of church attendance.
No significant association was found between scores on the Francis Sca
le of Attitude towards Christianity and scores on the Satisfaction wit
h Life Scale (r=.05) or between frequency of church attendance and sco
res on the Satisfaction with Life Scale (r=.00). These data provide no
evidence that, among a sample of Northern Irish University undergradu
ate students, those with a more positive attitude towards Christianity
or a greater frequency of church attendance are more satisfied with l
ife.
