Abstract
Chemoselective cross-coupling reactions of monoesters of dicarboxylic acid chlorides with organocopper reagents derived from Grignard reagen ts, cuprous bromide, and lithium bromide, provide a simple and straigh tforward method for synthesizing a variety of ketoesters.
