We carried out measurements of the excitation function for the reactio
n Sc-45(p,2n)Ti-44 from 16 to 55 MeV. The results show a discrepancy w
ith the only previous work on the subject. It was also possible to mea
sure the cross sections for the reactions (p,pn)Sc-44(m) from 16 to 55
MeV, (p,pn)Sc-44(g) and (p,n)Ti-45 from 16 to 22 MeV, and (p,3pn)K-42
and (p,3p)K-43 from 40 to 55 MeV.
