Abstract
This paper presents an approach to estimate the electromagnetic parame ters of shielding materials at low frequencies based upon shielding me asurements. The method is applied to compute the electric conductivity and magnetic permeability of several long cylinders which are made of aluminum, Amumetal, and Conetic-AA, respectively. The results are con sistent with their published data and show the application potential o f the method.
