Abstract
A novel numerical method, which uses linear edge elements in eddy curr ent region and nodal finite elements in non eddy current regions, is p resented for solving 3D eddy current problems. The mathematical models are divided into two parts according to their properties. the theory of linear edge elements is developed. The test results show the validi ty of the algorithm.
