M. Delverdier et al., USE OF MONOCLONAL-ANTIBODIES FOR IMMUNOHISTOCHEMICAL STUDY OF BOVINE SPLEEN ON FROZEN-SECTIONS, ANAT HISTOL, 25(4), 1996, pp. 243-247
Many monoclonal antibodies reactive with bovine leukocyte differentiat
ion antigens are now available. Immunohistochemical staining on frozen
sections using these monoclonal antibodies permits study of the funct
ional morphology of bovine spleen. This study confirms accepted notion
s (B and T dependent-zones) and supplies complementary data about the
repartition of CD4 and CD8 cells, gamma delta T cells, MHC (Major Hist
ocompatibility Complex) II expression, and macrophages.
