D. Sanchezhernandez et Id. Robertson, SOME EXPERIMENTAL RESULTS OF PRINTED ANTENNAS FOR THE BENCHMARKING OFSONNET EM ELECTROMAGNETIC SIMULATOR, International journal of microwave and millimeter-wave computer-aided engineering, 6(6), 1996, pp. 419-429
Recently, a significant amount of research has concentrated on printed
antennas and their applications using either commercial or in-house e
lectromagnetic simulators to evaluate performance prior to constructio
n. It has now become clear that such 2.5-D/3-D simulators play a uniqu
e role in the development of precise microwave or millimeter-wave prin
ted antennas. This article describes some of the experimental results
and benchmarking of printed antennas designed using the Sonnet Softwar
e em electromagnetic simulator. Discussions about em's accuracy and pr
oblems and comparisons to other analytical methods are presented. (C)
