Abstract
This case report presents a new therapy for interventional closure of patent ductus arteriosus in dogs. Using a Venous approach, a metal spi ral is inserted into Botalli's ductus. The enbuing thrombosis closes t he lumen of the shunt entirely. Therefore, open thoracic surgery is no t necessary.
