Abstract
Study objective. To document practices regarding limitation of care to neonates in France, Population and methods: Questionnaire survey in 1 5 pediatric teaching hospitals in continental France. Results: Fifteen evaluable responses provided information on the quantitative importan ce, principles, and practical modalities of decisions regarding cessat ion of therapy in the neonatal period, Conclusion: Limited care is con sidered in 5% and used in 3% of neonates admitted to intensive care un its. There is a consensus regarding the main indications, whereas cons iderable disagreement exists regarding practical modalities.
