K. Kudo et al., SOLUTION OF THE INVERSE RADIATIVE LOAD PROBLEM USING THE SINGULAR-VALUE DECOMPOSITION TECHNIQUE, JSME international journal. Series B, fluids and thermal engineering, 39(4), 1996, pp. 808-814
A method is developed for solving inverse radiative load problems with
in multidimensional systems with arbitrary shapes. The energy equation
s for each gas and wall element are expressed in a matrix form, and th
e inverse matrix is obtained by the singular value decomposition techn
iqe in order to estimate the temperature and heat load distributions w
ithin the gas region from the profiles of the heat flux and the temper
ature of the wall elements. From these analyses, the method is shown t
o give stable results for the radiative inverse load problems when the
condition number of the matrix is reduced to an appropriate low value
by setting some singular values to 0.
