Abstract
A Cl ended poly(methylphenyl)silane is synthesized and analyzed by Si- 29-NMR spectroscopy. The end groups are extremely reactive with small compounds as alcohols and amines. By this way, copolysilanes containin g some nitrogen atoms can be synthesized. (C) 1996 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
