Abstract
Double beta decays to excited 2(+) states of daughter nuclei are sough t for Sm-154, Gd-160, Er-170, and Yb-176 with a germanium detector. Li mits on the corresponding half-lives of these nuclei are found to be 1 0(17)-10(18) yr.
