Vv. Glagolev et al., SPATIAL CORRELATIONS IN DEUTERON BREAKUP WITH ALLOWANCE FOR FINAL-STATE INTERACTION, Physics of atomic nuclei, 59(12), 1996, pp. 2125-2129
Experimental results obtained with a 100-cm hydrogen bubble chamber in
stalled al the Laboratory of High Energies (JINR, Dubna) and exposed t
o a 3.35-GeV/c deuteron beam are reported. Spatial correlations in the
deuteron-breakup reaction dp --> ppn are studied. Experimental result
s are analyzed in a nonrelativistic model based on the Lippmann-Schwin
ger equation. Final-state interaction is shown to play an important ro
le in deuteron breakup.
