Abstract
We show how the Landau-Dykhne formula for the high-order harmonic gene ration can be, generalized in order to account for the simultaneous in teraction of photoelectrons with the laser field and the binding poten tial oi the parent ions. Numerical illustrations indicate a significan t dependence of the phase of the probability current on this interacti on.
