Ll. Bobrov et al., LEFT-VENTRICULAR DIASTOLIC FUNCTION IN ES SENTIAL-HYPERTENSION AND CHRONIC PYELONEPHRITIS WITH HYPERTENSION, Kardiologia, 36(8), 1996, pp. 28-31
Parameters of diastolic filling of the heart were studied in different
types of arterial hypertension. In patients with essential hypertensi
on and chronic pyelonephritis with hypertension diastolic dysfunction
of left ventricle was found. There was moderate negative correlation b
etween degree of severity of diastolic dysfunction and blood pressure.
No significant correlation was found between derangements of transmit
ral blood flow and degree of left ventricular hypertrophy. Considerabl
e differences in structure of diastolic blood flow (mainly in velocity
parameters of flow during left atrial systole) were noted between dif
ferent types of hypertension. It was suggested that characteristics of
trasmitral blood flow depended on genesis of hypertensive syndrome.
