G. Ullrich et al., THE PEDIATRIC RHEUMATOLOGY OUTPATIENT-CLI NIC - A MULTIDISCIPLINARY APPROACH, Monatsschrift fur Kinderheilkunde, 144(9), 1996, pp. 872-877
Chronic diseases in general and juvenile chronic arthritis in particul
ar are often considered as diseases which should best be treated in an
interdisciplinary manner. However, the evereyday practice of a multid
isciplinary team approach often remains unclear. The article outlines
the different tasks and the ways of cooperation of the team in Hannove
r, Germany. Special emphasis is laid on the psychologist's and the soc
ial worker's part. The modern idea of a multidisciplinary team approac
h should be more than mere words.
