Abstract
The authors describe a space-time decomposition (STD) approach for adj usting the array coefficients of a space-time array, which is inherent ly parallel and gives higher output signal-to-noise ratios than conven tional approaches. The length of the training sequence limits only the number of antenna elements in an adaptive array. The length of the ta pped delay lines can be adjusted independently of the length of the tr aining sequence.
