The time-of-flight technique is used to investigate neutron yields fro
m Li-6,Li-7 + d interactions. The energy spectra of neutrons emitted f
or angles between 10 degrees and 150 degrees are measured for incident
deuteron energies from 0.7 to 2.3 MeV and from 5.6 to 12.1 MeV for ru
ns with an electrostatic accelerator and a cyclotron, respectively. Cr
oss sections for inverse kinematics are measured in additional experim
ents with Li-6 and Li-7 beams. The total and differential cross sectio
ns for neutron emission in the reactions with each lithium isotope, as
well as the partial cross sections for a number of channels, are meas
ured. The results are then compared with available experimental data a
nd with some model predictions. In particular, the equality of the cro
ss sections for the mirror channels is discussed for Li-6.
