We calculate the shapes of omega and rho resonances produced in (p) ov
er bar A --> VX --> e(+)e(-)X reactions at rest. The mass distribution
s have a two-component structure that corresponds to resonance decay o
utside and inside a nucleus. The latter component has a mass and a wid
th distorted by medium effects. We also investigate the role of the fi
nal-state interaction of decay products in (p) over bar A --> rho X --
> pi(+)pi(-)X and (p) over bar A --> omega X --> pi(0) gamma X reactio
ns.
