Abstract
Application of various approaches to the description of the Pontecorvo reaction (p) over bar d --> pi(-)p at rest and in flight are consider ed. In particular, the predictions of the reduced-QCD-amplitude approa ch and quark-gluon-string model combined with Regge phenomenology are discussed in detail and compared with the available experimental data.
